Rooted wigline or rooted hairline wigs are custom cut and styled.  These type of wigs give the illusion of hair growing right from the hairline, hiding the wig hairline and eliminate the need for bangs and are very popular among entertainers, drag queens, female impersonators, tribute artists for stage and theatre use mainly.  The other type of rooted wig refers to wigs that have a darker base color at the root and lighter ends and are sold unstyled by some companies.  There are several different methods used by wig stylists to create these type of wigs, we generally go with the softer hairline look rather than the hard line used by some.  Rooted wig lines or rooted hairlines take longer to do than regular wigs as each hairline takes on its own look and has to be carefully crafted and cut to create what is know in the industry as a rooted wigline or rooted hairline.  Not all wig styles can take a rooted wigline, some of our most popular are show below and come in several colors.
